Sender's name: rob

can a person go one day without sinning?

---------

This is probably something you can answer more from experience.  The Bible does say this -

"If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us (1 John 1:8)."

To sin means to fall short.  Every one of us fall short of the full potential of what God created us to be.  Sin does not mean merely to do something we are not supposed to do.  The Bible calls that transgression.  Sin is failing, falling short, missing the mark.  We are all guilty of that.

God's remedy was that Jesus would die for our sins, so that we, coming to him as both savior and Lord, could be saved even though we fall short in our loyalty and faithfulness.  The key is to commit yourself to Jesus as your Lord and Savior and live a life of obedience to him, knowing that when you fall short, he takes care of the sins of his faithful ones.
