Summary:  Since the Lord has expressed his love for us as his “bride,” we need
to express love for our spouse and for each other through words and action.

1.  What is to be the basis of our love for each other?  How does God want us to
respond to his love?

2.  In what ways has/does Christ show his love for us?

4.  In what ways did Christ “sanctify” the church?  (To sanctify carries the idea of
setting something apart, to dedicate, or to make special)
