This demonstrates that the Gospel is for all people, therefore we also need to make the journey to humble places to make the Gospel available to all. Explore: (Luke 2:1-20) 1. How do you think Joseph and Mary might have felt when they realized that the baby was going to come while they were in Bethlehem? 2. Why do you think God chose to have the birth of Jesus announced to shepherds and not to any of the religious leaders? 3. What did the angel of the Lord reveal about the baby that was born? Does it seem odd that he would be born the way he was? 4. How is Jesus wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger a “sign?” (A sign is usually something that points to a reality beyond itself) 5.
